Winning a Door Prize

Door prize time at guild is always fun.  I hold my breath and hope for the items I would like to have.  Once I got excited as the digits were read out slowly, and the first five matched. Then came the unmatching sixth. What a let down. But my luck changed. I won a batch of fabric, small pieces of two design lines.

Crazy Love

This is not my usual palette

It will be good experience to work with different colors and scales than I usually use.  I have ideas for both sets and have ordered fabric to use with them. (Yes I know.  Twelve boxes of fabric and nothing would work.)

To be continued…

Congratulations on just winning – that’s excitement alone.

  3. That is exciting! And a challenge to work outside the box. I look forward to seeing what you do with the fabric. Congratulations!
